HOW CAN I BE SURE CHRIST IS IN MY HEART and I CAN GO TO HEAVEN WHEN I DIE?
Christ died for our sins and wants to save everyone (2 Peter 3:9). However, God will not force His salvation on anyone; a person must ASK God to be saved. At the moment we do, Jesus comes into our heart, forgives our sins and saves our soul. We become a child of God (John 1:12), a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and our name is written in the Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).From what does Jesus save us? From our sins, (Mark 2:1-11, Matthew 26:28, 1 John 1:7).
What is sin? Sin is any thing that displeases God (1 John 3:4).
Who has sinned? “All have sinned…” (Romans 3:10, 23).
What is the penalty for sin? Eternal or Spiritual death [Hell]. (Romans 6:23).
How can someone be saved from this death? They can be saved from eternal death by accepting Jesus as their Savior, (Acts 16:31).
How do you ask? By FAITH, call upon God, confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9, 13).
If you would like to ask Jesus into your heart right now just say the following prayer:
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died for my sins in my place. I believe that he rose from the dead and I ask him to come into my heart and cleanse me from my sins. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
